Internationally recognised coaches and athletes

Kirsty Hillier

Kirsty is a Qualified Athletics Coach and Level 3 Triathlon Coach. She has been coaching since 2003 and has developed her coaching skills through various avenues from Club Coaching, Age Group Coaching and through her previous role at British Triathlon with the Paratriathlon Performance squad. Kirsty is also an accomplished athlete, having completed numerous endurance events around the World. Her achievements include; The London Marathon, The Outlaw Long Distance Triathlon and achieving the Qualifying standards for multiple Age Group Triathlon World Championships.

David Sheldon

Dave is a Loughborough University graduate who boasts a first-class honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science, as well as an MSc in Exercise Physiology. An elite athlete himself, Dave is a British Universities 1500m Finalist with a personal best of 3.48. With a passion for physiology, sport and exercise, he brings a lot of experience to his coaching having worked with elite athletes across a range of sports. Completing a 2-year MSc placement allowed Dave to work closely with runners, cyclists and triathletes, both in the lab and out ‘in the field’.

Gemma Hillier-Moses

Gemma is an England international athlete and Co-Founder of New Levels Coaching. She has over 10 years experience of coaching athletes of all abilities and a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from Loughborough University. Gemma recently became a fully qualified Pilates Instructor, she is a qualified personal trainer as well as a cancer rehab and exercise referral specialist. Gemma will bring her passion and enthusiasm to the coaching team, during the retreats.

Lucy Harfield

A former synchronised swimmer turned marathon runner. Lucy has run 3 of the 6 marathon majors in her short but very successful running career. Lucy is the Head of Communications for RunThrough Events and is also an Assistant Running Coach at the weekly RunThrough Running Club, where she supports runners of all abilities. Lucy always brings a smile and a lot of energy to her work and she will be ensuring everything goes as planned during your Runner Retreat.

Lewis Moses

Former International Athlete, UKA Accredited Coach and Founder of New Levels Coaching. In 2012 Lewis won the British Indoor 1500m Title and booked his place on the GB&NI Athletics Team for the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Istanbul, Turkey. He boasts PB’s of 3.41 -1500m, 7.55 – 3000m and 13.47 – 5000m. After a very successful running career, Lewis has now turned his attention to coaching, where he inspires athletes to find their own running potential.

Matt Wood

Former England International Athlete, former UK Indoor 1500m British Junior Record holder and Loughborough University Sports Science Graduate. Matt is the Co-Founder of RunThrough Events, an events company designed by runners to encourage people to use running to improve their physical and mental health! He has a wealth of experience working with athletes of all abilities as part of the RunThrough Running Club and Loughborough University and is also a qualified Soft Tissue Therapist.
